Alexandra Kowalski

Alexandra Kowalski is a sophomore music education major from Springfield, Virginia. She studies horn with Professor James Nickel. Alexandra is a member of numerous Mason ensembles including the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, Woodwind Quintet, and Green Hornists Ensemble. Additionally, she is a member of Mason’s Collegiate NAFME chapter. In between semesters, Alexandra substitute teaches music classes in Fairfax County Public Schools and works with multiple high school marching band camps. In the future, she hopes to teach band at the middle or high school level. Outside of music, Alexandra enjoys running, rock climbing, and an assortment of arts and crafts.
