Buckhall United Methodist Church is seeking a pianist/accompanist to support our worship ministry. The accompanist will play for Sunday worship services, including traditional hymns, contemporary praise songs, and choir music.
Schedule:
· Sunday: Arrive at 9:00 a.m. for choir rehearsal and worship song practice. Worship begins at 10:00 a.m.
· Wednesday Choir Practice 7 – 8:30 pm (No Wednesday rehearsals during summer approximately 10 weeks)
· Spring Season (7 weeks): Sunday after worship, 1-hour choir rehearsal (preparation for Easter)
· Fall Season (7 weeks): Sunday after worship, 1-hour choir rehearsal (preparation for Christmas Cantata)
Compensation is estimated at around $250 per week, depending on the accompanist’s ability to collaborate effectively with the pastor and choir. Interested applicants may send their resume and a brief note of interest to Pastor Han Yi.
